Educational Transition Support Project - Our Program

Amanda Riste, project coordinator, provides teachers and school staff appropriate teaching and behavioral strategies for successful transition of students returning from residential psychiatric treatment centers; facilitating team processes with the local school, administration offices, state, and community service agencies. Ms. Riste attended Arizona State University where she earned her Bachelor of Social Work (planning, administration, and community) and Master of Social Work (direct practice) degrees. She is a certified special education teacher in both Arizona and Alaska.
